Proxy list

Governments and censorship software are spoiling a lot of fun by blocking certain sites from you. You can now regain complete internet freedom by using a proxy that will allow you to surf the web anonymously because it hides your IP address. With a proxy server you are making an indirect connection to another network server. These proxies are available to anyone on the net because they consist of a list of IP addresses who are hosting open proxy servers. Proxy lists are available from multiple countries and can be fast or slow depending on the network computers.

What is a proxy server?

A proxy server is basically software system or computer that can be on a network or even on your computer that stores internet resources and performs acts such as requests for certain websites. When you are searching the net, the proxy will first check the archives or cache to find the link before the request is submitted for a search. If the internet resource is not in the archives, the proxy server will use its own IP address to process a worldwide search on the internet. When the internet resource is found, the proxy will relate it back to your computer so you can access it.

The naughty and nice of proxy servers

Proxy servers don’t use your own IP address to access information which means that you are actually using the internet completely anonymous since your own IP address does not reflect on the internet and is thus secure against hackers. The best part of a proxy server is that you can be protected from hackers, but the downside is that these servers can be used to undermine user privacies or act treasonous with complete anonymity.

Different types of proxy servers

Anonymous proxies – A client’s IP address is hidden and they are able to bypass firewalls and IP bans which allows them to access restricted sites anonymously. This improves your security, but also gives you the freedom to do misconduct online.

Highly anonymous proxies – No one knows that someone is even using this proxy because it uses a public IP address and hides your real IP so it can unblock websites, including those who are designed to block proxy servers.

Socks 4 & 5 proxies – These are used for DNS lookups or UDP services. Some proxy servers can have both socks protocols.

DNS proxies – Improves your network speed by forwarding your DNS requests from LANs to servers.
